Our Mission
NorthCalc exists to give every Canadian and American family access to professional-grade financial planning tools — for free. - Budget Planner: A comprehensive expense tracker that helps you allocate your after-tax income across housing, transport, savings, and more — with a real-time balance indicator.
- Investment Projection: Compound interest modeling with multiple return scenarios (5%, 8%, 10%) over 5 to 30 year horizons, helping you visualize your retirement future.
Our Data Sources
Tax data is sourced directly from official government publications:
- Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) — federal and provincial tax brackets
- Internal Revenue Service (IRS) — federal tax brackets and standard deductions
- State and provincial government revenue agencies — individual state/province rates
Our team reviews and updates all tax data at the start of each calendar year. Tax calculations are performed entirely in your browser — we never store or transmit your financial information.
